Richard joined Charter Hall in 2010 and has over 29 years of experience in real estate funds management, real estate finance, accounting and risk management. Richard has worked across
the Office, Retail and Industrial real estate sectors. This has included leading the establishment and structuring of new funds, the management of these funds, including overseeing the
transactional, development, asset and property management.

Richard is the CEO of Charter Hall’s $24 billion Industrial & Logistics real estate business and its over $6 billion development book. The Industrial & Logistics business includes the investment
management, development, asset and property management services on industrial assets we own and manage on behalf of investors Richard has also led the Charter Hall global investor relations team responsible for engaging with the investors in Charter Hall’s listed and unlisted funds. In his role Richard has directly led the raising of capital globally for pooled funds, new investor partnerships and joint ventures.

As a Board member of Charter Hall’s unlisted retail investor business, Charter Hall Direct, Richard also led the growth of this business since its inception to be the leading provider of investment funds in Australia. The leading position of this business has been recognised by the outperformance of the funds and a number of industry awards for fund of the year.

Prior to joining Charter Hall, Richard was a Division Director of Macquarie Group and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Direct Property Management Limited. Previously to that, Richard
was a General Manager with Lend Lease Corporation Limited and a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
